Calculate optimal panel string configuration for your inverter. Validates voltage and current limits with temperature-corrected values.
Generic starting values, not a datasheet — a preset supplies Voc, Vmp, Isc, Imp, wattage and βVoc only; βVmp and NOCT still come from your module datasheet.
Total Power
— (module wattage not stated)
Nameplate power at STC — sets the array power and the DC/AC ratio.
Negative value, as printed on the datasheet, in %/°C (not a fraction per °C). Filled from the CEC library or a generic preset on selection.
Negative value. Not in the CEC library — γPmax is a different quantity, so take βVmp from your module datasheet.
Nominal operating cell temperature. Filled from the CEC library on selection.
Record-low site temperature — sets cold Voc.
Maximum site temperature — sets hot Vmp.
Generic starting values, not a datasheet — replace them with the voltage and current ratings printed on the inverter you are actually using.
Imp-side rating per tracker
Optional — leave blank when only the per-tracker rating is published.
MPPT TRACKERS
Strings on one tracker must be equal length; different trackers may differ. Isc/MPPT is required and is never inferred from the operating rating.
tempCoeffVmp is required — the module βVmp temperature coefficient is its own datasheet value and sets both the hot and cold operating voltage. It is not replaced with a default.
— AWAITING INPUT —
Enter your panel and inverter specifications to find the optimal string configuration.
Voc at coldest temp must not exceed inverter max voltage (safety!)
Vmp at hottest temp must stay within MPPT window for tracking
Total Isc across strings must not exceed inverter input current
