REFERENCE — UNDERSTANDING OHM'S LAW

Ohm's Law describes the relationship between voltage (V), current (I), and resistance (R) in electrical circuits.

V = I × R
Voltage equals current times resistance
P = V × I
Power equals voltage times current
Key Concepts:
  • Voltage (V): Electrical pressure measured in Volts
  • Current (I): Flow of electrons measured in Amperes
  • Resistance (R): Opposition to current measured in Ohms
  • Power (P): Rate of energy transfer measured in Watts
